Print Mixing Outfit 1

TGIF cyber friends, as usual I’ve been over this week since Thursday. I tried the waking up everyday and be thankful thing blah blah blah, but I’m really tired, I need to sleep in and I don’t care. So cheers to a weekend filled with pancakes, wine and relaxation. Supposedly we are getting a cold front in South Florida, so one last chance to wear boots and cozy sweaters Yippie!

About this outfit, I am in love with this Nanette Lepore top, the print is gorgeous so as usual I went on a hunt for a similar looking print at a more affordable price and I was successful thanks to ASOS (below I shared a few more bold printed peplum top that I’m loving). I decided to pair it with jeans with a very subtle print and  wore purple pumps. I personally love mixing prints, what do you think of this look? Have a great weekend and thank you so much for reading.

Thirsty Thursday | From Runway To Everyday

Hi everyone, for this edition of Thirsty Thursday, let’s talk Spring/Summer 2013 presented during Fashion Week. While I am may not be able to afford high end designer items, I strongly believe they are not necessary to look polished. And most of all I’m an average girl with a regular life so a lot of those intricate pieces do not fit in my lifestyle anyway. Below are few looks from designer that I admire, and these looks could totally work in my everyday life. And similar pieces can easily be found to recreate the looks.

Black Tee | Tan Skirt | Coral Pumps | Black Satchel

I love this Phillip Lim look for many reasons, it is simple and chic. A great outfit that can be worn by any woman.

Strapless Chambray dress

Oh now I know why I love Chanel so much, a denim/chambray dress is a must in my book. I actually have two.

Statement Pant | Silk Top

Chloe has the perfect statement pants they are so gorgeous and I love the simple styling of the model letting the pants be the centerpiece. (I must admit I couldn’t find a pair equally as fabulous as the Chloe pair)

Skater Black Dress

Vive the Christian Dior team for incorporating the LBD in this collection, it is a timeless piece that EVERY woman needs.Stella-McCartney

Light Green Peplum Top | Green Pants

I Love Stella McCartney’s clothes in general, I specifically love this look, because I love monochrome looks in the same shade of a color.

ValentinoBlack Jumpsuit

I love Valentino for bringing a no fuss jumpsuit in the runway, since I am a jumpsuit novice I would probably settle for a plain black one first. But I love the burgundy on the model and the matching shoes makes this look sassy, classy and chic.

Floral & Red

Work Outfit with red pencil skirt 1

I’m not sure when I became a skirt girl, but boy did I accumulate a few skirts recently. I think that living in South Florida has a lot to do with that, since it’s always so hot.  It is so hard to dress up for work sometimes, so I figure a nice pencil skirt will make me look more polished. This is a hectic work week, I’m tired and over it, why did I want to grow up so badly? I truly wish I could take all the naps I didn’t want to take when I was little. OK it’s my bedtime now. Have a happy humpity Wednesday!

Vest & Tweed

Hi everyone, hope you had a great weekend, mine was filled with good food and naps. I am wearing my new vest, it is my last purchase before Lent, and I fell in love with it at F21. The best thing about a basic black vest is that it will fit perfectly in my wardrobe almost year-round. I really think that a vest is a must in every wardrobe, as you can probably tell by now I love separates. There’s so many way I can wear it and cannot wait to do other pairings.

Spring Shopping Guide

Hi everyone, hope you’re having a weekend filled with pancakes and ice cream. I have been making a mental list of  pieces that I wanted to add to my wardrobe for Spring. Yes! I want a leather cap after seeing them on the Hervé Leger Runway show (I mean I saw that online I wasn’t actually there lol), I want my own and maybe I’ll do a little DIY to mine. I have shirt #2 and is it perfect for $15 (thank you Forever21). I also have similar lace up shoes from Target and the J.Crew pencil skirts (I wore them here ‘pink’ and here ‘blue’ already).
