4 Amazing Body Products Under $30

You may not know this about me but I love body products, my skincare routine is expensive enough so I always want these to be reasonably priced. These four are all new to me and I’ve been loving them.

Bioderma Atoderm Cleansing Oil: I got this as a substitute for L’Occitane Almond Cleansing Oil and it’s so good. It’s lathers well and doesn’t leave that sticky residue that some shower gels have. The bottle is huge and it’s under $20. The smell is less strong than L’Occitane but still yummy.

Bioderma Atoderm Cream: I use this along the cleansing oil above right out of the shower and my skin is loving this as well. It dries quickly and keeps me moisturized all day. The bottle is also huge and it’s only $18.

Tatcha Kissu Lip Mask: I tried Laneige and was not impressed, I love this a lot more. I use it AM and PM and it makes my lips plum and smooth.

L’Occitane Shea Milk Soap: To say I am obsessed with this soap is an understatement. It smells amazing, the bar is $10 and is huge! Trust me, just get this.

My Recent Beauty Empties

I have a huge bag of used up products and I think it was time for a proper review. My main skin concerns are hyperpigmentation, I’m also have oily and I’m prone to breakouts. So my product choices have to cater to my concerns. I think that in order to take products recommendation from someone, you need to make sure you have the same issues. I have a lot to go through to let’s do this.

Weleda Body Butter: This is a body butter and it’s so moisturizing. I love it and I’ve already repurchased it two more time. I apply it right out of the shower and it’s wonderful for my dry skin. Unlike my face, the rest of my body is really dry. I know this is not for the face but I love it and wanted to share.

Indie Lee COQ-10 Toner: A good toner preps your skin for your skincare routine and this is one of the best I’ve tried so far. I’ve had issues in the past with toners drying out my skin, but this one doesn’t have any alcohol and I think that helps a lot. I’ve already repurchased it and I’m almost done with my current one. This has a permanent place in my routine for now.

Origins Modern Friction Cleansing Oil: I’ve already been through 5 bottles of this and I don’t have a single complaint. I am however planning on trying out a new cleanser next, that I’ve seen great reviews on. So I won’t be purchasing a sixth bottle soon, it is however a wonderful gentle cleanser.

Skinceuticals Discoloration Defense: I am always using product that helps with dark spots and this wasn’t it for me. I didn’t see any major changes so I won’t be repurchasing that one.

Skinceuticals C E Ferulic: I looooove this Vitamin C serum and this is the first one when used consistently along with SPF daily, made me see progress. I also love the formula, it applies well and I can easily layer my moisturizer and makeup on top. It’s however, $166 so yea. I am trying a slightly cheaper one next, if I’m not into it, I will go back to that one for sure. Honestly, I will probably get a new bottle before my current one is finished if I find a good sale.

Vintner’s Daughter Botanical Serum: I know this serum is very popular and has tons of benefits, I really enjoyed using it but the benefits are not great enough for me to repurchase. It is also very expensive so I cannot justify getting a new bottle to be honest.

Drunk Elephant Protini: I love this moisturizer, I’ve tried several products from DE and this is my favorite from them. It’s a great everyday moisturizer for my oily skin, despite being oily because I use several actives, I have to make sure I’m well moisturized to avoid dry spots.

Complex Iribiol: If you have oily skin, acne scarring and random breakouts, this serum is must. It does a great job at keeping my skin in check. Already repurchased and will again and again.

Placenta: this serum illuminates the skin, I usually layer it with complex iribiol and put it around my eyes as well. I have a few serums to go through, once I’m done with them I will repurchase that one again. I think it does a better job than discoloration defense.

Estee Lauder Micro Essence: This hydrating and stabilizing essence does just that. If it was $40 I would totally repurchase but my skincare routine is costly so I will only repurchase this if I get a gift card or something. Now that I’m writing this, I realized how much I loved it but I know I can get by with just the Indie Lee Coq-10 toner.

The Rich Cream: I was so eager to try this, you are suppose to use it on it’s own without any other serums. I did that and finished it and I didn’t see enough progress in my complexion to repurchase. It is quite expensive so I’m moving on.

The Glow Maker: If all my hyperpigmentation goes away and I had almost perfect skin, this would be my go-to vitamin c, the price is amazing. But my skin needs a little more, so I will not be repurchasing this.

Quick Picks

The products I’m not repurchasing are not bad but for the price and results I cannot justify them right now.

Will Repurchase: Weleda Body Butter // Indie Lee COQ-10 Toner // Origins Modern Friction Cleansing Oil // Skinceuticals C E Ferulic // Drunk Elephant Protini // Complex Iribiol // Placenta

Will Not Repurchase: Skinceuticals Discoloration Defense // Vintner’s Daughter Botanical Serum // Estee Lauder Micro Essence // The Rich Cream // The Glow Maker

I always take close up shots of my skin to track progress and these two pics date July 2019 and December 2019 respectively. I like to try new products, sometimes it’s a hit and other times, not so much. I do this to stay motivated, the progress is slow but it’s happening.

Work Outfit with Vince Denim Shirt, L’Agence Black Jeans and Leopard Print Wedges

Happy hump day! This is my latest work look, these are all great basics that I wear quite often. I got these wedges last year and while they are fun, I just wish they were a tad higher. I really lucked out with this denim shirt, I got at the Vince store near me on major sale, it’s sold out now but I also have the one I linked to below, it’s my second favorite. Weekend Outfit in Wolford Bodysuit and Misa Los Angeles Skirt

Happy Monday! I wanted to share a simple outfit I wore recently to grab dinner with a friend. I love these Misa skirts and had to get that one. I often see them on sale on the TheRealReal for $65 or even less, like this one. I usually get them in a medium, the small would probably fit but just a tad snug at the hips.

If you want a fitted look, a bodysuit is always the best choice. I have a few from Wolford and Yummie is another great brand with nice basic bodysuits.
