Community Board by Tara Conklin: Darcy decides to move back home after her husband up-hand her cozy life by asking for a divorce. She moves back home to her adoring parents but things don’t go as smoothly. She finds herself living in their house and getting more and more fascinated by the local community board, that is filled with petty neighborhood drama. This book made me laugh out loud a few times, it’s such a cozy story. 4/5 Stars

The Five-Star Weekend by Elin Hilderbrand: Hollis life is pretty perfect, she has a successful husband, a smart daughter and a very popular food blog. When her husband dies suddenly, after a few months of grieving, she plans a five-star weekend with all her best friends from different stages of her life. Each of these women also have their own drama in their personal lives but agrees to join Hollis. Elin really is the queen of beach reads and I really want to visit Nantucket. 4/5 Stars

Everything’s Fine by Cecilia Rabess: Jess finds out she’s working with her old college nemesis Josh on her first day at Goldman Sachs. Josh is conservative and always ready to play the devil’s advocate. She’s the only Black women around and they soon form a friendship that leads to more. They don’t see eye to eye politically but still manage to get together but then it’s 2016 and everything changes. This was such a good read, and this is the author’s debut novel. I highly recommend checking it out. 4/5 Stars
