The Kind Worth Saving by Peter Swanson: Joan goes to private investigator Henry Kimball to look into her husband she believes is cheating. Henry knew Joan in a past life as she was in his class when there was a school shooting. Joan just needs confirmation that her husband is cheating but Henry has an uneasy feeling about her. I loved the kind worth killing and this sequel did not disappoint. 4/5 Stars
Silver Girl by Elin Hilderbrand: Meredith reaches out to her oldest friend Connie, she has no where to go and is in over her head. Her husband is in prison and won’t talk to her and she cannot contact her sons. She heads off to Nantucket to hide out in Connie’s house and is hoping to prove her innocence. She had no clue of her husband schemes and now she is hated by her entire community. This is obviously inspired by the Madoff story but it focused more on Meredith. I could not put it down, it’s a perfect beach read. 3.5/5 Stars
