Hey guys! Hope your week is off to a great start, last week was a doozy so I had a lazy weekend. Today’s post is a special one and I have a little announcement below. First, let’s get into what I wore last week, while working from home.
This look is all my staples in one look, my favorite shirt, jeans and kicks.
I got this sweatshirt on sale last year, I’ve been waiting for it to go on sale again to get a couple more.
Was pleasantly surprised these pants are still in stock, love the color.
I posted my first blog post on May 3rd 2011, after a rough start around 2012 I started posting consistently. A lot have changed in the blogging world since but I held on despite all the changes. Instagram wasn’t really a thing back then. I started this blog as a way to document and build my work wardrobe and overall share all the things I’m loving. I’ve always loved fashion and that is something that will never change.
My life however has changed a lot, I’m in my mid thirties now, I work from home full time and I have more work responsibilities. While I still love a cute outfit, over the years I drastically changed my shopping habits. Now I’m at a point where I’m just re-wearing the same stuff all the time, which is really the point of having a complete wardrobe. That however makes for a very boring blog, I don’t always have new stuff to share and I don’t want my blog to drive my spending habits. So I am slowing down a bit, I didn’t want to just change things without a formal notice.
That means that there won’t be 2 to 4 blog posts weekly. I will continue sharing what I’m wearing, eating or reading on Instagram. I won’t take the blog down because I think it still has a lot of helpful posts. I may use it to share things that need a permanent spot in a long form format. I also really want to have my weekends back, it may not look like it but running a blog is time consuming. Most of all, I want to thank you for sticking with me all these years.
I’m still deciding what to do with my fashion account, I think it’s an easier way to share things I’m loving. So this is another place you can follow along. I will be turning off the comments in a few day, always feel free to send me an email at email@example.com for questions or just to say hi. I’ve always loved sharing and that will never change.
Again thank you so much for your support and I’ll still be available on Instagram via @pinksole_rach to share what I’m wearing and loving.
