I’ve always wanted to try Briogeo but never did until I saw the Avocado Kiwi Mega Moisture Superfoods Hair Mask. It’s a protein-free hair mask that seems to be made for people with dry hair so I was immediately intrigued.
I have to talk about the scent because I know that can be a deal breaker for me. I usually leave my hair mask one for at least one hour so it has to be something that is not overwhelming. This mask smells amazing but it’s not overpowering so that’s a plus.
I have dry hair and scalp so I’ve learned that protein treatments are not effective for me. This one is formulated with highly emollient ingredients to boost moisture for softer, more manageable hair. It does just that, when I washed it off my hair was incredibly soft with great shine. My hair has a tendency to be dull.
When you look at the ingredient list, it’s no wonder this stuff works and it’s officially a new favorite of mine. It melted in my hair and I was left with moisturized hair. When applying it, I made sure all my strand were coated and I raked it through my hair but didn’t go crazy applying a bunch of it.
I parted my hair is four parts and raked the products on each side.
Do I recommend it?
YES! But keep in mind if your hair is naturally oily this may not be the best for you. It’s $36 and so far it’s a winner for me.
