Over the Summer I took a break from polishing my nails. I usually do my own manicure and wanted to go for a more natural look. I enjoyed the look of bare nails but I have a little collection of nail polish that I need to use. I did a Fall cleanup in my closet and my beauty products as well. This year I got lucky and was able to give all the clothes to friends. I did give up some of my beauty products but I had to throw some away, like old nail polishes.

Before my trip I wore my favorite red and this past weekend I did my first at home mani, starting with my two favorite Fall hues. Freedom of peach that is the orange-y color below and going my way or norway. The latter is a great nude for darker skin tones.

Can’t forget about Lincoln After Dark, next weekend I’m getting a pedicure and this will probably be my first dark of the season. If you cannot commit to black nail polish this is the perfect alternative. I also love Taboo by Chanel and considering that too.

I love red polishes and malanga wine is my go-to darker red for Fall/Winter. It is this deeper red that looks smooth and is perfectly opaque.

If you are into black then I highly recommend Never have to mani friends. It’s very shiny and a couple coats give you the perfect finish below. This is the only black polish, I’ve found and loved so far.

I am trying not to buy any more nail polishes and just use the ones I have because I think I have enough variety. But please do share your favorite Fall nail polish hues with me. If I get a pedi, I may check if the nail tech has it. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
