I had a totally different post planned for today, I trashed it last Saturday. I was going to a Spring/Summer edit similar to that one but with affordable items all under $50. The thing is I feel genuinely bad sharing things that I know I would never buy. I’m making a conscious effort to not buy clothes and accessories at fast fashion stores. Last November, I got a dress from Target that I still haven’t worn, the only reason it’s still in my closet is because I think it’s cute and refuse to just waste $35. This is not how I want to feel about things I bought with my hard-earned money.
I totally understand wanting to find less expensive items and I almost never buy anything full price. That’s why I always cruise end of season sales at Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom or Saks, I promise you I’ve gotten many designer items that way under $50, $100 and more. I’m also a huge fan of TheRealReal, do not be intimidated by this huge site. I’ve made several returns when things didn’t fit well with no issues. I’ve also consigned a few designer items I wanted to part with and had a wonderful experience. I’d rather buy fewer better things. I found this minimalist YouTuber that I really liked.
Now let’s get into the random things.
I’m late on that one but the show Younger is so fun, I started last weekend and I’m already in season 2.
I just love this one shoulder stripe top.
The cutest rainbow stripes adorable dress.
All the cute Summer sandals.
Some popular skincare ingredients explained!
Before I go, there’s lots of amazing sales happening right now. A cute hat for bad hair days, the cutest slingback pumps, blocked heel sandals and the perfect travel/everyday backpack (if I didn’t already have one, I would totally get this). My mesh bodysuit, the perfect going top. The best flats sandals I saw this year. A great tank dress to wear all Summer long. I tried a Veronica Beard jacket and they are pretty amazing, this amazing red one is on sale. A great pair of high waist skinny jeans and you know I love slip on sneakers, two great pairs here and here.
