Hey guys! Back with this styling series, in the last post Gina requested styling a denim jacket so here we are. Denim jackets are on of my closet staples and you only really need just one. Mine is still in stock and I highly recommend it. I’ve thought about getting one in white or black denim but always knew that a classic blue denim one was enough. Please feel free to let me know in the comments if you have any suggestions on what I should style next.
Adding a denim jacket is a great way to make not so casual pieces, like these trousers look more relaxed. I have pieces specifically for work but I love finding ways to wear them in more casual settings. You could easily swap the trousers with a pencil skirt, specially if it’s a fun color or print.
There’s dresses that are not necessarily dressy but can easily make you look overdressed in certain settings. So adding a denim jacket and casual sandals can easily make for a cute and comfortable outfit.
Intimidated by mixing prints, breaking it off with a denim jacket is a great way to tone it down a notch. I have several other theories about denim jackets and I figured I would share some extra ways to style your denim jacket.
Denim jackets are perfect with monochrome outfits, wearing head to toe black, white, add a denim jacket over to make it less plain.
Use it with with extra layers for early Fall or Spring.
Another example with work trousers.
Mixing prints again and adding a denim jacket to tone it down.
Pairing with a midi skirt and a button down.
Another example with a pretty dress you want to make more casual.
Going over my archive while putting this posts together I found so many post with denim jackets. I’m telling you I didn’t even share 30% of them. So look HERE for more inspiration.
