Happy Monday! I did a lot of backend work on the blog the past couple of weeks. I was on a really old wordpress plan with GoDaddy and my site felt slow. As I was doing the migration to the new plan, which took forever because my site is 6 years old. I got to take a look back at my older outfits and I can’t help but notice how much my style have changed. I think in my head my style was still the same but I’m realizing it became more subtle over the years. I’m ok with that because I was in my 20s when I started and now I’m 33.
Nowadays, in my closet, that dress is considered a fun piece, which is ironic when you look at older outfits like this or this. I’m not embarrassed by my older outfits but I know I wouldn’t wear any of these today. Looking at those high heels I used to wear is enough to give me an anxiety attack. At least, when I’m older I can happily say I had fun with fashion. There’s however older pieces that I totally regret, like this Ralph Lauren shirt I’m wearing in this look. Now I wish I still had that, I did find it in an extra small. For now I have a similar Zara knockoff that fits the bill.
I wore this to meet friends for Sunday brunch, it was a cooler day so I added my favorite denim jacket and pointed toe booties. That dress is on sale right now by the way, I’m wearing a medium. Soon I’ll be pairing it with these sandals and that bag. I have posts planned for Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, so keeping this one short. Tomorrow is book review day so make sure to stop by. Have a great Monday!
