Happy Hump Day! I am so ready for the weekend, this week is kicking my butt. Despite the madness I manage to finish Mad Men and even watched The Haunting of Hill House, I wasn’t going to watch it at first but after one episode I was hooked. It is creepy and simply addictive, if you get scared easily maybe don’t watch it at night and don’t binge. There’s talk of a second season and I’m totally on board with that.

Since it’s Workwear Wednesday, I thought I would share a couple of tips that help me manage a stressful work it. It’s really simple, exercise and sleep. When I’m working out, I’m really into it so all my worries are just out the window. Specially when I’m practicing pilates, you have to be so aware of your body for each move that I always get lost in the class. Sleep is a must because it is the best way to reset you mind and body. Aim for at least seven hours, these are pretty obvious good habits but trust me they make all the difference.

This is the prettiest and softest plaid I own, I had to size up as the arms are narrow, at least for me. It seems like the older I get the more comfort is my priority. I have way less heels than I used to and I’ve learned to embrace my height. So now more than ever, I enjoy my flats and sneakers.

This outfit reminds me of a pumpkin spice latte and I did not do that on purpose. I do love this color combo, I don’t like orange but this deep rust is nice. This tee is older but J.Crew makes a similar one in the same material and fit. These are all older pieces that came together nicely for a new work outfit.
