Since it’s Workwear Wednesday, I thought I would share a couple of tips that help me manage a stressful work it. It’s really simple, exercise and sleep. When I’m working out, I’m really into it so all my worries are just out the window. Specially when I’m practicing pilates, you have to be so aware of your body for each move that I always get lost in the class. Sleep is a must because it is the best way to reset you mind and body. Aim for at least seven hours, these are pretty obvious good habits but trust me they make all the difference.
This is the prettiest and softest plaid I own, I had to size up as the arms are narrow, at least for me. It seems like the older I get the more comfort is my priority. I have way less heels than I used to and I’ve learned to embrace my height. So now more than ever, I enjoy my flats and sneakers.
This outfit reminds me of a pumpkin spice latte and I did not do that on purpose. I do love this color combo, I don’t like orange but this deep rust is nice. This tee is older but J.Crew makes a similar one in the same material and fit. These are all older pieces that came together nicely for a new work outfit.

I’m with you, lady- the older I get, the less I buy things that are uncomfortable or too constricting. I def wear my heels less, when I used to wear them every day for work. Now I’m like, give me all the cute flats and loafers! Haha.

Your top two tips are so on point! And very in line with all of the happiness studies so there’s plenty of research to back you up. LOVE your plaid shirt. I agree…comfort has become more of a priority in my life too. When I think of some of my outfits from 6-7 years ago…I can’t imagine wearing some of that stuff just for a Target run now! I have a tank in a similar color to your “pumpkin spice.” It’s in my donate bin but now I think I’ll be getting it back out!! At least it’s better than going shopping for something new!
