I don’t have a whole lot of yellow in my closet, but I adore every single yellow piece I own. Remember that yellow dress and that skirt, both will be worn this Summer. The heat is serious here, so no layers in my near future. I wore that little dress to brunch, I love wearing these heels because they are really comfortable, you really can’t go wrong with stacked heels. I am planning on wearing it with my slides for another fun daytime look. I hope you are not sick of my bucket straw bag yet, I truly love it and it’s roomy enough to fit all my stuff and the perfect summer accessory.
I have a wide collection of headbands, baseball caps and bandanas. I like to wear simple pieces, so it’s always easy to jazz them up with fun details. Like this bandana I tied around my bag strap, I love the contrast with the striped lining of the bag.
Enough about clothes, I told you guys last week I was reading Blink – The Power of Thinking without Thinking and it was such a good book. I picked up and finished Outliers – The Story of Success by the same author, this book is so inspiring and emphasizes why it is necessary to work hard. I swear I had a burst of energy to just do better in every aspect of my life. I’m officially on the Malcom Gladwell train, so I’m reading the Tipping Point and David & Goliath next. For the past year, I’ve had a really hard time getting back to reading, I seemed to have lost interest for most fiction books and had a hard time finding books that could really engage me. So thank you to Gina and her awesome monthly book reviews for bringing him on my radar.
