What I’m eating: This past weekend I only cooked vegan meals, so I’m really trying to do better at eating less animal products. I’ll share more on that in my next health & fitness update.
What I’m loving: I got a new pair of shorts for Summer, I wanted something just a tad longer than my one teaspoon shorts and they are perfect. The only con is that they have a button fly instead of a zipper, but it’s so hard to find shorts that fit my waist and my thighs so I’m really happy with them.
What I’m working on: My skin! I got a couple bad breakouts that left a few brand new dark spots behind. It’s so frustrating because they take forever to go away. Along with eating less animal products, I’m pretty sure more greens and drinking more water will help improve my skin, I’ve also been really strict about my skincare regimen. While I love having fun with makeup I don’t like feeling like I have to wear it, so my ultimate goal is to improve my complexion to fully embrace the no makeup look. I’ve been using this face wash by Origins and I’m back to doing my modern friction 3 times weekly.
What I’m excited about: My upcoming super long weekend, I’m off from Friday to Tuesday so I cannot wait for this mini staycation.
What I’m watching/reading: I just finished What the Dog Saw by Malcom Gladewell, I caved and got an Audible subscription, I didn’t want the extra bill but honestly I’ve been loving it. It’s a much better habit than endlessly scrolling down Instagram or any social media for that matter. Now’ I’m waiting for the new month to get here so I can get extra credits for new books. I also started watching the Mindy Project and oh my God she’s hilarious, such a hot mess!
