Raise your hand if you are sick of Winter. OK it may not feel like Winter in South Florida but I am sick of seeing coats and sweaters in my timeline, Spring fashion is just so much more fun. I’m putting together a list of stuff I hope to get, it’s not a whole lot or finalized yet so I will share that in a future post. A lot of stores started rolling out Spring pieces and this is what I’m noticing so far.
Over the shoulder or cold shoulder are here to stay. It’s flirty and fun and a great way to show a little skin, I’m excited this trend is going strong.
They are coming in all sorts of prints, fabrics and colors, don’t worry your existing OTS pieces are still very much relevant. I personally prefer cold shoulders and wouldn’t mind getting another cold shoulder dress this year. I got this one last year and I will be styling is again maybe with sneakers this time around. Here are a few pieces that I’m crushing on:
Bold prints and stripes are in.
I’m super excited about this one because you guys know I love all sorts of stripes and I’m excited to pull out the gorgeous florals I got last year. Not sure if I will be getting anything new in this category, I do have a few pieces already. Don’t be sacred of these pieces they can easily be styled in many different ways. I am in love with this long flowy dress, the print is so pretty.
Dramatic sleeves anyone?
I did not embrace the bell or dramatic sleeves as I don’t think I can pull it off, but it doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere. If you were curious about this trend I say go for it, and you certainly don’t have to break the bank there’s several affordable pieces available. While I haven’t tried this trend this adorable dress is doing a great job at convincing me that I should.
Several other trends are still very much á la mode think: blush / light pink everything, platforms & espadrilles, ruffles, metallics, bomber jackets, mesh, velvet and my favorite sneakers.
