This week I am wrapping up week 16 of BBG, now that I’m on the second guide I have to say it’s pretty much the same, at the end of each workout I’m exhausted. So I can say Kayla knows how to keep me on my toes. Some days I’m tired and not really in the mood but the workouts are pretty short so I’m usually done under an hour and that includes warming up and cooling down.

Since doing that aerial yoga class, I’ve been working extra hard on my flexibility. I am currently trying to master the front split with this guide Gina recommended. I’m on week one and I really hope I make it to week 6 without breaking anything.

The different on the scale is not drastic but pics don’t lie. I am also able to wear all my old clothes that were too tight from 2-4 year ago. 2010 was the last time I was in good shape, so I’m pretty excited to able to fit into these clothing again, it’s like I went shopping without spending any money.

Overall, I will say I just feel better, I have tons of energy as long as I get enough sleep. It is crucial to rest and I don’t kill myself, if I have a few slip-ups I just move on and try to make better choices the next day.


food-diaryI decided to switch things up for this post, so let’s do a “Food Diary” recap.

8:30am: Scrambled egg white omelet with onion, peppers and chicken sausage. I also have 1/2 a waffle (sometimes a whole it depends) with 1/2 banana and drizzle some nuts n more on top.I wake at 5 and I’m usually not in the mood to eat, I wake slowly I’m not the type to just jump out of bed. I’m at work at 7am so by 8:15 I’m usually starving, so I pop omelet in the microwave and my waffle in the toaster.

Noon: Baked chicken parm pasta. My lunch is my biggest meal of the day, and this is a new favorite. I used regular pasta that day but I usually opt for whole wheat or zoodles would be yummy too. I usually bring something sweet to have after lunch and this time it was this chocolate banana bread bars.

3:00pm: Siggi’s yogurt bowl with granola, 1/2 banana and about 2 teaspoon of nuts n more. Leaving work in about an hour so I need to fuel up because my workout is coming soon.

5:00pm: Not pictured but I start working at 6pm so around 5 – 5:30 pm I will have half a Larabar and a B Complex pill.

7:30pm: Eggplant pizza, inspired by this recipe but I love my version way more. (recipe below) I’m usually done working out and starving by 7pm, so after my shower I devour my dinner/supper. Often I end up eating the other half of my Larabar. I like to end my meal on a sweet note.

Eggplant Prosciutto Pizza.


1 medium eggplant, sliced 3/4 inchĀ thick
Organic pizza sauce
Handful of baby spinach, roughly chopped
Shredded mozzarella cheese
Flavor God in Pizza


  1. Preheat the oven.
  2. Bring oven to aboutĀ 400Ā°F .Place cut eggplants on baking tray and sprinkle flavor god pizza and salt on them. Bake for 18-20 minutes.
  3. Remove eggplant from over. SpreadĀ a spoonful of pizzaĀ sauce on each.
  4. Add a few pieces of prosciutto.
  5. Add a few spinach leaves
  6. Top it off with some shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Place back in oven for another 3-5 minutes.
  8. Enjoy!
