How do you wear? A Kimono

Hi guys! it’s Friday Eve, yippie! For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted a kimono, way before they were trendy. See I always had a thing for that boho chic look, that’s why I love brands like Free People. So I am determine to get my Kimono and I wanted to share some options I’m considering and how to style it. Kimono-1

In this pack #3 #4 and #5 are my fave, but how cool is #3 I love that it is extra flowy.

I love all of these, #1 I feel can easily be dressed up if paired with the right pieces. And how cool would #43 be paired with a short dress and some booties. Below I put together some outfits that are totally Kimono friendly.

Outfit 1 paired with this kimono would be a great day outfit, to run errands, shop, lunch and more. And how gorgeous would Outfit 2 be with this kimono perfect for a night out. For a live show or anything outdoor during the summer Outfit 3 with this kimono is the perfect match.

Outfit 1: Top | Shorts | Flats

Outfit 2: Top | Shorts | Sandals

Outfit 3: Top | Shorts | Booties

A body conscious dress is perfect with a kimono, it is sassy and sexy but the kimono is a great way to cover up. A kimono can also be used as a cover for a fab one piece or bikini. I think that crop tops and kimono are a match made in heaven. While outfit 3 is quite sexy, I think a nice kimono would automatically make it less showy.

Outfit 1: Dress | Sandals

Outfit 2: Bathing Suit | Flip-Flops

Outfit 3: Crop Top | Skirt | Sandals
