Happy Friday guys! I cannot wait for the workday to be over so that I can get in weekend mode. I don’t have any plans but I do want to see Man of Steel, the new superman is hoooooot.

About these outfits, I’m always trying to find pieces that I can wear on different settings. This pencil skirt is conservative enough for work but if paired with the right pieces it can totally work for a cocktail party. I fell for it as soon as it came out, but refused to buy it full price. One day I stumbled upon it at the J.Crew store at 30% off but decided to wait some more. I saw it on Margo in January and decided to get it then, but it was sold out. I was crushed but eventually moved on, only to see it 3 months later on Karla. My curiosity pushed me to check out J.Crew and they had it back in exactly one size, my size. I purchased it on the spot and when I went back to the website a few minutes after it was sold out again, I think I snatched one of the last few. And we lived happily ever after. THE END.

For work I paired it with a red blouse and black pumps, I added a gold belt to accentuate my waist along with my everyday oversize tote.

For play I changed into a sleeveless peplum top,  black sandals, I also switched to an envelope clutch, added some Mac Ruby Woo to finish off the look.

Hope you enjoyed this post and thank you so much for reading. Have a great weekend.
