Hey guys! This post is way out of my comfort zone, I love blogging about my outfits because I wear clothes that I love and that I’m comfortable in. Blogging about my personal space is different, I feel like I’m inviting you into my home and the introvert in me is feeling all shifty about it. But hey sometimes you have to do thing even if they are uncomfortable. As you can see there’s not that much going on, I do like a pretty space but I dislike clutter. My motto when organizing my space is to fill it with items that are useful or that I find beautiful.
My walls throughout the apartment are white and I don’t plan on changing that. I upgraded my bed, I got this one from Wayfair and I’m so happy with it. The price was right, the bed is gorgeous, easy to put together and sturdy. I prefer light colored bedding, I often go for white, blue, light grey or blush. I had to get new bedding because this bed is bigger than the one I had before. My go-to places are always Macy’s, Wayfair and Home Goods, I believe in quality bedding so I often wait and hunt for a good sale. At Macy’s I love Collection by Charter and I always track them on clearance, I got two sets and they were under $50 each. My white quilt is a recent purchase that I absolutely love. At Home Goods, it’s hit or miss but they often have great bedding.
My walls were pretty bare and my decorating budget was slim, so I went on Etsy and purchases these pretty prints from this store. I printed them at office depot, they often have printing coupons so watch out for that and I framed them with these inexpensive Ikea frames. You guys already know the story behind my nightstand.
This is an old Pottery Barn jewelry box that is by some miracle still available on their site and on sale. I keep all my jewelry here and I have two extra boxes for storing bracelet, one is from Target, the other is from the container store.
I didn’t want my hats to get scrunched so I used commands hooks to place them on the wall, so they now serve a double purpose. My mirror and ottoman are from Home Goods. Remember I originally wanted the emerald green velvet ottoman in my living room but it ended up making more sense here.
I’ve been doing this thing where every Sunday I pick out the clothes I’m going to wear for the week and this $12 rack was a light saver, it comes in handy too when I’m taking pics for eBay.
I feel like the wall facing the bed needs something but I haven’t decided on that yet. I don’t have it all figured out yet but I wanted to show you guys what I’ve done so far.
That’s all folks, I’m linking to all my pieces below or awesome dupes if I cannot find the exact one. Let me know what you think and if you have any questions please feel free to ask.
