If you follow me on snapchat you know one thing about me, I LOVE FOOD and I’m always cooking. Needless to say with my move coming up, while I’m still waiting to find a place to get most of my stuff I’ve already purchased MOST of my kitchen items. See I cook a lot and 90% of my meals are homemade so it’s imperative for me to have a functional kitchen as soon as I’m settled. My sister owns a large collection of Le Creuset pieces that I’ve been using for years. So pretty much I’m spoiled, when they came out with their Hibiscus line I was smitten (it’s also called chiffon pink). My sister’s collection is blue and yellow, elegantly named Marseille and Soleil on the Le Creuset site. I didn’t name this blog Pink Sole by accident I really do love blush pink, I’m a pink loving girl at heart. So for the past few months I’ve been slowly purchasing my must have pieces, yes Le Creuset pieces are expensive but the quality is out of this world and having used them for years I knew what pieces were worth the splurge. Thankfully over the Holidays I snatched several things on sale, Amazon is another great place to get Le Creuset stuff. A lot of other things I will be getting at Ikea, Home goods and such, I only got my favorite pieces that I know I truly worth the splurge. Think dutch ovens, cannister, grill pans, skillets & nonstick pans, tea kettle & mugs and more.
Just like I shared my living inspiration with you guys I knew I wanted to share my dream kitchen, I started thinking about the post and find out about the term Millennial Pink last week thanks to this article. I never cared about blush pink being on trend, it’s just a color I’ve always loved but I guess I am a true Millennial. I don’t plan on buying every single item in this shade, I do want to incorporate white and grey. to balance it out.
