If you can’t tell by now I love sunglasses, and I’ve been slowly working on my little collection. First step is to know what shape is more flattering to your face shape. I think that other than oval/round/square/heart a person can be in between shapes. For example if you have a round face but your chin is slightly pointy it might looks oval to some. To be honest I wear all shapes, I just have a preference for aviators and ombré lenses that have a brownish color as I think it is flattering with my skin-tone.

The oversize look, is not for everyone and I only do it once in a while, it’s a bit too diva-ish for me. But Nichole Richie has that look down to a science. I do love an extra large aviator though.

My favorite shape for sure is the aviator, so far I have 4 pairs and I really want the mirrored Ray-Ban in red.

To me the wayfarer screams cool, so I tend to wear mine with more casual outfits or to give an outfit a relaxed feel.

The round i think can be pretty spiffy I only have one round pair of sunnies by Chanel and I tend to wear it to more formal events like a daytime wedding or funerals.

I think the cateye is often worn by girls that are a bit fierce as it will never go unnotice

Remember there’s tons of other geometric shapes you can play with depending on your personal style. Check out my favorite sunnies below.
