Hi everyone, hope you had a great weekend. 2013 has been stressful so far, so I spent my weekend relaxing trying to keep calm and deal with life’s punches.

This year I’m really working on being less of an impulse buyer, I mean just because it’s on sale doesn’t mean you need it. I’m really working on filling holes in my closet and I really don’t need another pair of blue denim even if its 80% off.

A good thing about blogging my outfits is that I’m really wearing all the clothes I own, I used to reach out for the same pieces over and over. I don’t want anything in my closet with the tag on. Last Friday I finally wore my yellow denim, and since a few of you mentioned how difficult it was to style a utility vest, this is another way to wear it. I’ll try to include it in a few other outfits to give you some more options.

    I really like this vest/yellow pant combination. They complement each other very nicely. And the little pop of pink keeps this look from being too autumnal.

    I’ve been trying to work on my impulse buying too. I did great yesterday at Zara. There were these mint jeans (I really want mint jeans) for only $19.99, but they were ripped in the back pockets and a little bit in the knees. They fit just right and they were such a good price for Zara, but I didn’t like the destructed look on such a sweet and feminine color. So I didn’t get it. Go me!
